The Lowara pump model e-NSC is a centrifugal pump series that leaves the shaft in cast iron.The pump is designed to be equivalent to some discrete models such as FSA of Ebara, CA of Pentax and NCB of Saer. Xylem, the leading manufacturer of pumps and pump equipment, has added to its Lowara range by launching the e-NSC series,a new series of heavy end suction pumps targeting the Construction and Industrial Services market.

The e-NSC series has been designed to provide end users with the most energy efficient solution possible. It has a Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI) above what was required by the 2015 ErP Directive 2015 update - and uses an IE3 engine, which requires very low operating costs, providing long-term economic benefits for end user.

A cast iron version of the range will be available from May 2014, while a full duplex stainless steel version will be launched in January 2015.

When combined with a Hydrovar vacant Xylem pump controller, the pump speed can be reduced by 50% to save up to 82.5% in energy consumption compared to traditional pumps. Given the scale of many commercial and industrial heating systems, this can significantly reduce a building's energy costs without affecting system efficiency.

To cater to the different needs of the Industrial Construction Services market, the Lowara end suction pump, e-NSC is available in six different sizes, from DN100 to DN300, and has pump rates up to 1,800 m³ / H. With heads up to 120m high, the e-NSC series can operate at a maximum pressure of 16 bar and water pumps range from -20 ° C to + 140 ° C. An extended temperature version is also available. Water can be transported from -40 ° C to + 180 ° C.
